The Copper Coast just keeps on Giving!

Note: Updated post from this location can be found here

This is yet another beautiful stretch of beach along the Copper Coast in Co Waterford. It was a place I had scouted out previously but hadn’t found a way to access it safely, I taught I’d have to invest in a sea kayak! Thanks to some direction from John Glavey I found a route (albeit very precarious). I am reluctant to give direction as this access route is really not for the faint hearted but even from the cliffs it really is a stunning stretch of coast line. The beach is located on the Copper coast in Waterford .

Image taken at dawn, unfortunately into the sun.

The beach has many stunning sea stacks with amazing structure and beauty, some with some real character to them, portraying likeness of the Moai of Easter Island (in my imagination anyway). The beach provides a perfect foreground with pristine black pebbles. Just so many angles to explore and work out. This is a place I am going to visit again and again I feel over the next while and will update this post as I find new images and angles to try an convey just a fraction of the beauty to be seen here.

Conditions for these images have varied a lot, from clear blue skys at dawn to a heavy sea fog at dusk, making starkly different images.
